Financial Management Trainee Program (FMTP)

Geographic Locations of Positions

The FMCP office places Trainees in a variety of locations every year. While the majority of the locations are standard, they may change somewhat during any given placement year.

Generally, you can consider employment in one of the following geographic "zones."

North/Northeast: Great Lakes, IL; Lakehurst,NJ; Newport, RI; Mechanicsburg, PA.

Washington DC: Washington DC metro area; Lexington Park/Bethesda, MD; Northern Virginia (Alexandria, Arlington)

Southeast/Mid-Atlantic: Norfolk/Quantico, VA; Charleston, SC; Cherry Point, NC; Pensacola, FL.

Western: California: San Diego; Oxnard (Point Mugu); China Lake. Washington: Bremerton, Keyport, Silverdale.

Once final locations are determined, the FMCP office will notify you via email to complete a preference sheet which will be included.

You may choose up to three (3) duty location choices and you may put them in priority order.
